About the Artist |

In addition to being a registered Veterinary Technician and life-long animal lover, Bev is also a gifted artist who is self-taught in several different mediums. She excells in pen and ink, as well as pastels, watercolor, wood burning (pyrography), and sculpting. Her love of animals, and dogs in particular, is very evident in her work. She truly captures the essence of each animal; looking at the eyes of her artwork is almost like looking into the eyes of your own pet. She is able to capture that intangible quality that makes each animal a unique individual. In addition to her art and career as a technician, Bev and her sister breed and raise a select few litters of champion Irish Wolfhounds every year. Bev lives at Caraglen with her sister and 12 Irish Wolfhounds; all house dogs. |
